Working principle
Coral's AIRCOM sleeves reverse pulse jet filter is a highly efficient, self maintaining filter for dusts, with fully automatic cleaning by compressed air injection. The unit is manufactured with individual, reinforced, painted steel panels which make for extremely robust contruction. The design includes an upper chamber which houses the compressed air cleaning system, the centre section which includes the required filtering sleeves and a lower section with the supporting legs, hopper and polluted air inlet.

The Evolution no-smoke self-supporting suction arm represents the best technical solution for the suction of welding smoke, gas, vapours, aerosol, oil fumes, dusts, etc..
Operating Principle
The polluted air is sucked in through the jointed hood and passes through pipes made of sturdy sheet metal (zinc-plated, inox, scratchproof enamelled, aluminum) to the high-efficiency fan or to the system’s central piping system, and from here to the filtering unit used in the specific applications. The pipes and the hood of the Evolution no-smoke are coupled together by special external articulated joints that we have patented, and a high resistance flexible pipe NO-SMOKE FLEX which allow easy and convenient movement of the arm. The Evolution no-smoke arm is also equipped with a rotary bearing which enables rotation through even 360° if installed on its special stand. The flow of polluted air that passes through the suction duct created in the arm, is not therefore, hindered by internal joints or articulations. Due to the reduced length of the hose used in the elbows, load losses are far lower than with other similar systems on the market. Less load loss means: lower fan power, hence energy saving; lower air flow speed, hence less noise.

The polluted air is sucked in through the articulated hood and passes through pipes made of sturdy sheet metal (zinc-plated, inox, stainless steel, scratchproof enamelled, aluminum) to the high-efficiency centrifugal fan or to the system’s central piping system, and from here to the filtering unit used in the specific applications. The pipes and the hood of the UNIVERSAL NO-SMOKE are coupled together by special external articulated joints that we have patented. These joints have a high resistance No-Smoke Flex hose allowing easy and convenient movement of the arm. The UNIVERSAL NO-SMOKE is also fitted with a special system which enables rotation through even 360° if installed on its special stand. The flow of polluted air that passes through the suction duct created in the arm, is not therefore, hindered by internal joints or articulations. Description
The new unit CLEAN GO/e thanks to its small dimension is easy to use and operational efficient and represents the actual solution for suction, filtering and deodorizing of welding fumes, solvent, vapours, aerosol in work premises.
CLEAN GO/e is designed according to up-to-date technologies, suitable in industrial and handicraft field, where easy to move and small size are requested to the filtering units. CLEAN GO/e has particularly been studied for use in different fields such as industrial maintenance, car repair workshops, hydraulic and light mechanical workshop. Unit maintenance is only represented by filter replacement and this is a simple operation requiring short time and unskilled staff. The CLEAN GO/e suction capacity ensures a good suction of welding fumes but not of gases to avoid to cool soldering causing dangerous contractions of metal.

The electrostatic precipitator filter CLEANING NO-SMOKE/E is a purifying unit designed for use in numerous applications for the treatment of industrial pollution. It is especially in demand for its compact assembly which maintains the internal geometry of the frame with in the limits imposed by its operation. With consolidated solutions that include quick and easy maintenance, installation on a standard frame, the filtering unit CLEANING NO-SMOKE/E is especially flexible to use.
The purifying assembly, as designed by CLEANING NO-SMOKE/E, is composed of 4 filtering stages: 1.mechanical prefilter; 2.ionizing section; 3.collecting section; 4.activated carbon. The core of the entire purifying system is contained in two elements that operate in a completely synchronized manner: the ionizer precedes the collecting cell in the airstream with the special function of electrically charging the particles contained in the airflow. It is in this area, in fact, that the corona effect is created, ensuring operation at the highest levels; the collecting cellworks to capture the pollu-tants.

The new POLIVAL filter benches can be used for a wide range of application in welding, trimming, grinding and lapping operations in the wood, marble , foundry and metal industries. The careful design of noxious fumes and dust as they generated, thus preventing them from being breathed in by the operator, causing irreparable damage.
Energy saving
POLIVAL benches are fitten with filter bags made from special tufted felt which allow filter yields of over 99% to be achieved.
Maximum aspiration
Although strong, POLIVAL ‘s aspiration rate does not influence welding operation and does not create draughts since air suction is uniform.
In addition to our standard models we are able to build benches of any size, lift and load. For special applications, we will supply a surface covered with refractory material on request. The POLIVAL model PR electroventilator, which is fixed onto the side of the bench, can be supplied in a boxed and also soundproofed version on request.

Use
Is a table aspirator for fumes and vapours caused by soft soldering. OLISMOKE is particularly helpful in the electronic, electrotechnical and radiotechnical sector, where the various components are assembled on printed circuits by soft soldering.

Operating principle
The polluted air is removed, by means of a special flexible, articulated hose 100 mm Ø, model OLIFLEX, directly at its source before it can reach the operator's respiratory system. Using a small, high efficiency electrofan, the polluted air is pushed upward where a filter cartridge is positioned.
The OLISMOKE/CA model is equipped with an active carbon filtering cartridge placed on the fan's exhaust which takes care of the filtration of gases and fumes. It is also available as optional an additional cartridge in polyester BIA certified rated to U.S.G.C with high filtering efficiency (OLISMOKE/CA/B).
OLISMOKE therefore improves working conditions and increases production. Thanks to their special construction, OLISMOKE is:

Energy savings
The removal of polluted fumes from work environment during winter causes a great decrease in temperature. Usually this situation is solved by increasing the heating system which, on the other hand, has the disadvantage of system and management high costs.
OLISMOKE/CA/B represents the solution: to the problem, as the filtered air can be recycled in the premises being the toxicity below the limit value permitted by the law.

Compliance to safety standards
The OIL STOP has been designed and manufactured in accordance to the laws and standards set forth by the American Conference Governmental Industrial Hygienists (ACGIH). The OIL STOP meets or exceeds the T.V.L. (Threshold Limit Values) and T.W.A. (Time-Weighted Average) for the maximum acceptable concentration of the different polluting substances (for machine tool mist the maximum value is 5 mg/m3.).
Maximum efficiency
The OIL STOP performs with a very high level of filtration efficiency (up to 99%). Where bad odor must also be removed, OIL STOP is equipped optionally with CARBO activated charcoal filters. If odors are to be removed the composition of the polluting agents should be supplied us to enable suggest the proper activated charcoals.
Quiet operation
Due to the layout of its filters, their remarkable absorbing power and the special streamline, the OIL STOP can be used in any environment without causing acoustic pollution. Where very low noise levels are required, OPTIONAL AFON model silencers are supplied.
Options
Depending on the different requirements, OIL STOP can be supplied with CARBO charcoal filters, with absolute filters or with any other type of filter to solve potential problem. As an optional we can supply either a collection tank or a continuous oil drainage system, and, in case of special installation requirements, also high pressure PA/P - PR - AP/T - PR/T - VAP.

The CLEAN-FV Filter is used in the mechanics and graphics industries and in other industrial divisions where there is a need to purify air from oily fog produced by processing and to recover filtered oil for recycling.

Operating principle
Air polluted with oily substances passes through a mechanical separator, both of which are inserted in a channel that has the same diameter as the suction mouth. The drops of oil are pushed against the walls of the channel. The metallic screen in the channel prevents the oil from falling back into the flow of air, so that it slides along the walls of the channel to the collection hopper: in a second phase the oil will be collected in a small barrel (supplied as an option) and is eventually recycled.
In this manner nearly all of the oil particles suspended in the air are separated before it passes through a metal wool filter and a pockets filter. Given the high efficiency of both the mechanical separator and the metallic filter, the air at this point no longer contains droplets of oil. To eliminate eventual residual impurities, the air passes through a last pocket filter designed for large surfaces, realised with special top quality material, and is finally expelled through a grill placed on the upper part of the machine.

in all cases where conditions of work requires improvement of the cartridges or felt filters efficiency by means of cyclonic pre-filtering of larger granulated dusts. It is mainly used in the following industries: metal industry (grinding, polishing, etc.) rubber, plastic, timber, chemistry. textile, agriculture. foodstuffs,etc.
Versatility in use
The wheel-mounted version of the CYCLONFILTER gives to the unit the possibility of extracting and filtering dusts produced alternatively from various operating machines, placed at a certain distance, and to fasten the discharge operation of dusts and even still to effect the cleaning of the extractor-filter in the open air or more suitable place.
Energy savings
The CYCLONFILTER permits the attainment of high power savings during winter because the hot air which is perfectly filtered is recycled in the work premises.

AIRALT cartridge filter

Operating principle
The contaminated air enters from the hopper inlet and due to the abrupt decrease of velocity and the 1ST stage impact filter, the larger particles decant and fall into the dust collection bin. The finer or lighter particles flow through the unit, where the filtering cartridges are placed; the contaminated air flows through the cartridges (AIRALT) or the sleeves (AIRALT/M) from the outside to the inside, therefore the dust deposits outside and the air flows through the filters and is emitted in a purified condition. The gradual accumulation of dust requires a periodical cleaning of the filters: the backwashing cleaning is carried out by a compressed air blast which causes a high frequency oscillating motion to the filters. This air blast technique, also known as “shock wave cleaning” helps the backwashing process.
The cleaning sequence is carried out on each filter section, by means of diaphragm magnetic valves managed by a cycle timer, which determines both pause and operating period or by a PLC mounted on the control board, taking into account the pressure differential between clean and dirty zones of the filters. In this way the conditions of efficiency of the filter are always maintained at a maximum. Thanks to this highly reliable cleaning method, after an initial operating period, the filter reaches a nearly constant pressure drop throughout its operating life.
The unit is fitted with a differential pressure switch for monitoring the cartridges clogging and the subsequent pneumatic cleaning cycle. The standard mounted cartridges or sleeves made from polyester fibres with IFA/BGIA L-PES classification, ensure a high separation efficiency rate (<0,1%) only with filtration speed lower than 0.056 m/s, with inlet dust concentration of 200 mg/m3 and particle size between 0.2 and 2 μm. The AIRALT-AIRALT/M filter equipment allows a maximum vacuum of 5000 mmH2O/0,5 bar on the outlet. In case of special requests for bigger loss charges or version requesting Atex versions (filter positioned in zone 22-21 dust / 2-1 gas) please contact our Technical Department. We suggest to protect the unit against hard weather conditions to ensure a longer life.

The Coral Engineering model AIRCOMPACT cartridge filter with a backwashing cleaning capability is composed of cartridge filter elements enclosed in an air tight central body and is conceived for being used in vacuum systems. the filter can be used for treatment of fumes and dusts in mechanical, chemical or pharmaceutical applications.

CLEAN / CARBO filtering units

Use
The “CLEAN and “CARBO” modular filtering units are used to clean and deodorize air polluted by welding smoke, gas and vapour, fumes, etc…
Operating principle
Before being allowed back to the environment, the polluted air leading from the suction points is ducted to the “CLEAN” filtering unit which mainly comprises: a pleated average efficiency pre-filter (87,5% measured according to the ASHRAE 52-76 st.d class G3) made of an electrically-welded galvanized frame which encloses the filtering sector of synthetic-resin=primed, polyester fibre. A high efficiency filter with pockets made of microfibers connected to a galvanized sheet metal frame (95% efficiency measured according to the ASHRAE 52-76-st.d class F9) . If the deodorizing or the absorption of chemical substances or solvents in the air is required, for example, during painting operations or when plastics are processed, the filtered air is passed through the “CARBO” unit which is firmly bolted to the “CLEAN” module. The active carbon used in the “CARBO” unit has a specific area of 1250 sq. m/g, a volume mass of 500 Kg/m3 an iodine value of 1150 mg/g and it is contained in cylinders made of microperforated metallic net which allow easy change of the carbon.
Functionality
Thanks to its modular construction, the high efficiency of the filters and the remarkable withholding capabilities of the active carbon, it is possible to optimise the sizes of the unit according to the amount of air to be treated for capacities between 1500 cu. m/h and 27.000 cu. m/h with filtering areas between 3,3 sq. m. and 61 sq. m. for best performance the “CLEAN” “CARBO” should be used in vacuum.
